Lectronin's going to be at E.A.T (Eat Art Theater, 850 NE 81st Ave.Portland OR 97213) on Friday May 6th, 2011 at 7:00 during First Fridays for a free show. Come out, grab a bite, and listen to new songs and even covers!

Lectronin's first single, "Twilight Mist" is out now. It's a digital only release and is available on iTunes and CDBaby. This track is a brooding writhing mass of dark electronica layered with strings and ambient piano.

In addition, Lectronin has created his first music video to accompany the single. The video actually takes the form of an eerie short computer animation entitled "Flight of the Serpent". Check it out right now.

Three electronic bands command the stage at Pop Culture for a dazzling and colorful evening of floor-pounding fun. An all ages show featuring Pink Noise, Isopod, and Lectronin. Tickets are $8 and include one free soda. Purchase your tickets before Aug. 24th and receive a free poster.

Lectronin has three new shows coming up next week. Check the posters below for info, or go to MySpace. The first one's a benefit at The FCC, the second is a HiCap Records Halloween Dance Party, and the last will be a DJ set at Pop Culture's Halloween Party.

I haven't blogged much in the past year, partly because I've been working intensely on a project called "The Organism". What is the Organism? In short, it's customized software I'm designing to run my live performances. Of course, that short description begs the question, "Well then why use some fancy/weird/ominous name like 'The Organism' for something so straightforward?"
